Peter Conner:

I was born and raised in California, where I spent most of my life surrounded by its breathtaking landscapes—think towering redwoods, rugged coastlines, magnificent mountains and golden hills. That’s where my love for nature really took root, and it continues to be a huge influence on my photography.

While I started out focusing on those natural landscapes, over time, my work expanded to include urban and industrial scenes, capturing a different kind of beauty. Traveling has also been a big part of my journey, and it’s opened up my eyes to new subjects — especially travel and wildlife photography, with a particular fascination for bird photography.

In 2013, I made the move to Prescott, Arizona, drawn by the unique landscapes of the American Southwest, where I had plenty of chances to explore and photograph its beauty.

Now, I’m living in McMinnville, Oregon, excited to dive into the West Coast’s scenery again with fresh eyes. It feels like the perfect place to keep growing and evolving as a photographer!
