Coal Mine Canyon is a hidden gem located on the border of the Hopi and Navajo lands in northeastern Arizona, not far from Tuba City. Despite its name, the canyon doesn't feature active coal mining; instead, it is known for its strikingly colorful and dramatic landscape. Layers of red, white, and ochre rock formations create a visual spectacle, resembling painted cliffs and towering hoodoos.
